Check ligament desmotomy surgery being performed by Dr. Tom
Yarbrough at Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center. The staff was
extremely accommodating, very nice to work with and obviously quite
professional. We were especially impressed with the hoof rest (sorry
guys!)
After the ligament was released, Dr. Yarbrough used a dremmel tool to
lower the heel a bit and do some preliminary shaping of the hoof.
Then, an epoxy toe extension was applied.
Being scrubbed for surgery.
